How Often Should You Clean Your Concrete
- Sweep or rinse weekly
- Deep clean every 3–6 months
- Clean stains as soon as possible
Safe Cleaning Methods
- Use a garden hose or low-pressure rinse
- Soft-bristle brushes are ideal
- Mild detergents are safe for most surfaces
- Avoid harsh acids or degreasers unless necessary
Pressure Washing Do’s & Don’ts
Do:
- Use low pressure under 2,500 PSI
- Keep the nozzle moving
- Maintain a safe distance
Don’t:
- Use high pressure on stamped or decorative concrete
- Hold the nozzle too close
- Use rotating turbo tips on finished surfaces
Removing Common Stains
- Oil: use degreaser or dish soap + scrub
- Rust: use a concrete-safe rust remover
- Leaf stains: mild detergent + scrub
- Fertilizer burns: rinse immediately; may require light acid wash
