A smooth pour starts with a prepared site.
At Rising Son Concrete, preparation is part of precision. A well-prepared site helps us work efficiently, ensures a clean finish, and protects your property during the process.
Clear the Work Area
- Move vehicles, trailers, and equipment
- Remove outdoor furniture, grills, planters
- Clear toys, hoses, and yard tools
Mark Utilities & Sprinklers
- Mark sprinkler heads
- Identify underground lines if known
- Note any hidden hazards
Provide Access for Trucks & Equipment
- Ensure trucks can reach the pour area
- Remove vehicles blocking access
- Unlock gates if needed
Protect Landscaping
- Move fragile plants or décor
- Cover anything sensitive to dust
- Water nearby plants lightly to reduce dust
Prepare for Noise & Activity
- Keep pets indoors
- Notify neighbors if needed
- Expect some noise during prep and finishing
Weather Considerations
- We may adjust start times based on weather
- Rain or extreme heat may require rescheduling
